1000 Maine is the latest addition to The Wharf, a $2 billion, mixed-use waterfront community in Washington D.C.’s Southwest Waterfront. A new website was designed to promote the building and provide leasing information for prospective tenants.
Collaborating with the client during a series of workshops, we collectively developed the creative direction and structure of the site. Responsive prototypes were designed in the browser and sent for review following each meeting. We then built the content management system and applied the front-end design.
Rich photography is balanced by negative space throughout each page. A custom icon set and supplemental typographic treatments communicate a sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
