The website for The Field Museum is massive with over 500 scientists contributing content, tens of thousands of pages and dozens of page templates. Creating a responsive website involved a lot of collaboration and time. Our goal was to create an interim mobile experience with essential information for visitors while we planned the full version.
We designed a minimal interface around content that could be quickly scanned by people on-the-go. Intuitive navigation and a clean design creates a clear path to important sections like planning a visit, current exhibitions and purchasing tickets.
