George Street Photo & Video is a nationally renowned wedding photography company headquartered in Chicago. Building on its success, we created a strong brand identity and an updated website design.
At the time, George Street’s website included hundreds of individual pages, fifteen page templates and custom API integration. In addition to the complex structure, publishers and photographers were actively publishing new content and site traffic was consistently high.
Working with a team of creative directors, designers and developers, the redesign was completed while maintaining the structure of the website. In-browser prototypes were essential to this process. Those allowed us to share responsive designs with our client and send front-end code to the development team in Europe.
The new identity and visual language is joyful and personal, supported by a bright color palette and a wildly unique script typeface. Sans-serif typography paired with negative space provides clarity for forms, instructions and page navigation.
The successful redesign extends across print collateral, email programs and digital ad campaigns. Subsequent design iterations following A/B testing increased impressions, website traffic and lead generation.
